L&D Registered Nurse Weekend

Travel RN Labor & Delivery / Mother-Baby
Schedule: 3x12-hour Days shifts; weekend coverage required for 6 weekends per contract.
Assignment Details: Travel experience required; unit does not accept first-time travelers.
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years clinical experience.
Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, AWHONN (Beginner/Intermediate/Advanced).
Charting system: Epic.
Preferred previous charge experience and Trauma Level I experience.
Patient ratio experience: Labor 1:2, Antepartum 1:3, Mother/Baby 1:3.
Responsibilities:
Manage labor and delivery, including LDRP care and antepartum/postpartum care.
Assist with vaginal deliveries and C-sections (scrub/circulate).
Perform external and internal fetal monitoring and NST/OCT.
Recognize and manage hemorrhage, magnesium sulfate, and oxytocin/Pitocin use.
Conduct newborn assessments, thermoregulation, and provide phototherapy care.
Support breastfeeding/lactation and discharge teaching, including car seat education.
Start and maintain IVs, administer blood/blood products.
Assist in basic surgical tasks and neonatal resuscitation.
Compliance / Notes: State or Compact license must be in hand at time of submittal; previous staff must wait 1 year before returning as travelers.
