Komatsu's Manufacturing Engineering Internship Program provides manufacturing and mechanical engineering students the opportunity to gain first‑hand experience in a highly structured learning environment. This 12‑week program will offer interns: training, mentorship, and exposure to multiple areas within the manufacturing and engineering group.

As an intern, you will shadow and work with experienced engineers on real projects, gaining valuable work experience.

The Manufacturing Engineering Internship Program offers a variety of opportunities related to facility layout / renovations, interaction with multiple groups, including: Manufacturing Operations, Materials, Quality, etc., and involvement in key manufacturing engineering projects.

Actively enrolled in an Engineering Program(preferably Manufacturing or Mechanical)from a 4-year accredited college/university.

Must be able to apply their academic background toreal businessworld experiences.

Strong mechanical reasoning skills

Previous welding experience preferred.

PC Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office specifically with Excel (Pivot Tables), Power Point (slide presentations, AutoCAD and other summary and analysis tools. Travel: Some travel may be required.

Possible opportunityfor continued part-time work throughout the school year (up to1,040 hoursper year).
