CPA/Senior Tax Preparer

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Tax Accountant to join our team!

Average hours: 50 during tax season / 40 outside of tax season

Prepare and review a wide range of individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns with a focus on accuracy and compliance

Apply federal, state, and local tax codes to ensure clients receive the maximum benefit

Provide proactive tax planning strategies

Stay current on changes in tax law and public accounting standards

Manage, train, and mentor tax staff

Review financial statements and supporting documentation for completeness and accuracy

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA or EA preferred

Minimum of 3 years of tax experience

Strong tax preparation and public accounting background with solid regulatory knowledge

Strong understanding of financial statement preparation

Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel (Drake Tax preferred but not required)
