Champion Personnel is currently seeking a Shipper II for a growing facility in Willoughby, OH. This is a hands-on role supporting shipping, receiving, and logistics operations in a fast-paced production environment.
As a Shipper II, you will be responsible for loading and unloading trucks, verifying incoming and outgoing shipments, and ensuring all materials are handled safely and accurately. This role also includes training team members and supporting overall shipping operations.
Load and unload trucks and delivery vehicles using a forklift
Stage materials for production and outgoing delivery
Handle UPS and FedEx shipments and deliveries
Complete all required shipping and receiving documentation accurately
Ensure only approved/ready product is shipped (follow company procedures)
Communicate with customers regarding pickups, deliveries, and inventory
Follow all forklift safety protocols and dock safety procedures
Train new shipping team members and support team development
Handle special shipping requests and order setups (Deere, WCI, TST, etc.)
High school diploma or GED required
Previous shipping/receiving experience required
Ability to obtain forklift certification
Must be flexible to work all shifts, including weekends
