You must have an active South Dakota RN license, current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, and at least 1-2 years of recent endoscopy or procedural nursing experience. Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems is important. Strong communication, attention to detail, and patient-focused care skills are essential. Recommended experience includes hospital-based endoscopy, conscious sedation, and infection control practices. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification is preferred but not required.
