Lockheed Martin is seeking a System Engineer for a position in Huntsville, AL. Come be a part of the development of the new Long Range Hypersonic Weapon (LRHW). This position is for a System Engineer to support the LRHW System Engineering, Integration & Test organization. You will help design, develop, and innovate technical solutions for soldier utilized ground systems. Learn more about our Hypersonic Solutions and the Long Range Hypersonic Weapon (LRHW) program This position requires strong communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and in a team environment, and to interface with software developers, test engineers, other system engineers, program management, quality assurance engineers, and customer representatives.

Trade Studies - Systems Engineering approach and processes - Requirement definition, decomposition, and allocation - Interface definition (ICD, IBDs, IDDs) - Performing System Integration - Support to major reviews • Working Knowledge of Cameo/ Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance; Knowledge and application of systems engineering processes across the full product life cycle (to include proposal, design, qualification, requirements verification/validation, production and field support) • CONOPS or Architecture Development • Support to System Level trade studies • Knowledge of AGILE process • Knowledge of JIRA • Bachelor's or higher degree in Engineering or related technical field and/or equivalent experience • Ability and willingness to travel up to 10% of the time to support business needs.
