Wednesday's 7PM-11PM, Friday 7AM-3PM and Saturdays 7AM-3PM

The Patient Access / Front Office Associate is responsible for greeting patients and visitors, facilitating timely and accurate patient registration, answering phones, collecting payments, and performing general clerical duties. This role ensures a welcoming environment, excellent customer service, and accurate recordkeeping to support clinical staff and efficient patient flow.

Greet patients and visitors in a courteous, professional manner in person and over the phone.

Register new patients and accurately update demographic, insurance, and billing information.

Answer phones using proper etiquette; Provide general information such as directions, office hours, and policies.

Perform clerical tasks including copying, scanning, faxing, and filing.

Assist with supply management, including ordering and stocking as needed.

Attend staff meetings and required training sessions; Adhere to all company policies, safety regulations, and administrative procedures.

Customer service focus and strong communication skills.

Basic technical and computer literacy (Microsoft Office, office equipment, patient management systems).

High school diploma or GED.

Demonstrated customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Basic computer proficiency and the ability to learn new technology and systems.

TRAVEL

Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be expected. Incumbent will be required to work at any facility and be responsible for own transportation.

Use of hands for typing, filing, and handling office equipment. Moderate noise from phones, printers, and office activity. Standard office equipment used regularly. May require working evenings, weekends, or rotating shifts depending on facility needs.

One (1) year of customer service experience. Experience in a healthcare, hospital, emergency department, urgent care, physician practice, or medical office setting. Experience with patient registration, insurance verification, or electronic medical records (EMR/EHR).
