Travel RN - Labor & DeliveryJoin our dedicated team in the Birth Care Center, which accommodates up to 20 patients with a well-rounded staff of 50 professionals. Our unit emphasizes a collaborative work environment among nursing staff and specialists.Location: Wichita, KSStaffing:Day Shift: 1 CNC/Charge Nurse, Desk Clerk, Scrub Technicians, and 5-6 Registered NursesNight Shift: 1 CNC/Charge Nurse, Desk Clerk, Scrub Technicians, and 4-5 Registered Nurses Patient Ratios: 3-4:1 for postpartum couplets, 1-2:1 for labor patients Types of Equipment: Welch Allen vitals machines, CPN monitors, POC glucose monitoring devices, Monica Novii telemetryEMR: Meditech / CPNQualifications: To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:Minimum Qualifications: 1 year of current experience as a Labor & Delivery Registered NurseCurrent ACLS, BLS, NRP, and AWHONN or Intermediate Fetal Monitoring (IFM) certifications Preferred Qualifications: Experience in postpartum careHigh-risk Labor, Delivery, and Recovery (LDR) experienceTypical Procedures Performed:C-sections and InductionsAmniotomy (AROM), Intrauterine Pressure Catheter (IUPC), Fetal Monitoring (DFM) and DopplerCirculating during C-sectionsIdeal Candidate Profile: The ideal candidate will possess a positive attitude, demonstrate a strong work ethic, and thrive in a fast-paced environment while prioritizing patient care.Unit Guidelines: Successful candidates will follow established standards of behavior that prioritize integrity, compassion, and excellence in patient care.Additional Information: We aim to attract skilled professionals by providing access to the latest equipment and technology, alongside a supportive team with varied experience.
