Salesperson - Full-Time Retail

We are seeking entry‑level, full‑time Sales Associates for our pawn store locations nationwide. The Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate partners with the entire staff to ensure customer service on both the lending and retail sides of the business. This role greets, engages, and interacts with customers to process sales, loans, and other transactions. The associate works with a wide variety of products including tools, electronics, firearms (in FFL locations), and general merchandise.

Hourly rate: $14.00 – $17.00 per hour. Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, life, supplemental, and other voluntary insurance options (eligibility required).

Unlimited commission above your hourly base rate.

Paid vacation: one week after 6 months, another week after 1 year, and two weeks on each anniversary thereafter (adjusted for state/local requirements).

Paid sick/personal time: 8 hours after 6 months (up to 24 hours after 5 years).

Tuition reimbursement up to $2,000 per year (for full‑time employees who meet requirements).

Auto‑enrollment in FirstCash 401(k) program after 6 months.

Greets and interacts with all customers, developing rapport to recommend appropriate financial solutions.

Makes the sales floor clean, stocked, and maintains merchandise displays.

Processes sales and loan transactions in accordance with policies, procedures, practices, and regulatory requirements.

Handles all cash and negotiable items per established policies and regulatory requirements.

Communicates legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions to customers.

Partners with all employees to create a positive and memorable customer experience.

Successfully completes assigned training.

Ability to work with firearms and be firearms certified.

May assist customers outside the building or retrieve products from exterior storage areas.

Minimum age: 18 years old.

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.

Strong desire to work, serve customers, work with people, and be team‑oriented.

Cash handling experience preferred.

Ability to work a flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays.

Computer literate and able to operate POS systems and common office machines.

Pawnbrokers have the potential to earn 2%–8% commission based on the gross profit of their personal performance. Pay rates will not be below any applicable local minimum wage requirements.
