Assignment Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for a role in our Medical ICU. This is a 20-bed mixed ICU/Step Down unit catering to patients with severe respiratory failure, sepsis, hemodynamic instability, complex metabolic and endocrine disorders, and more. The ideal candidate will thrive in high-acuity settings providing comprehensive care.
Assignment Details
Unit Description: Combination of ICU 2:1 and Step Down 3:1 ratios
Floating required to a sister unit for SD 1:3 or progressive level patients at 4:1
Weekend and holiday rotation commitment
Shift: 3x12 Nights
Estimated gross weekly pay package: $2295 (negotiable)
Responsibilities
Provide continuous cardiac and hemodynamic monitoring
Manage invasive lines (arterial lines)
Administer NIH and TNK therapy
Operate mechanical ventilation, noninvasive ventilation, or advanced oxygen therapies
Titrate IV medications including vasopressors, sedatives, insulin, and antiarrhythmics
Deliver enteral or parenteral nutrition
Conduct frequent laboratory monitoring and manage complex medication regimens
