Weekend Shift Line Cooks

We are seeking dynamic, hospitality-driven individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. At Steelbach, we take pride in creating memorable moments through outstanding food, genuine hospitality, and a commitment to customer satisfaction. As a Line Cook at Steelbach, you'll be a key player on our culinary team, executing dishes with consistency, speed, and precision during high-volume service. You'll work station-by-station alongside our kitchen leadership to bring our Southern-inspired menu to life, maintaining the quality and craftsmanship our guests expect on every plate.
What You'll Do
Measure and assemble ingredients for menu items
Collaborate with the Executive Chef and Cooks to prepare meals during our dining hours
Maintain accurate food inventories
Properly store food items at appropriate temperatures
Rotate stock items as per established procedures
Restock kitchen for subsequent shifts
Ensure that the food prep area and kitchen are cleaned and sanitized throughout and at the end of your shift
Set up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies.
Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards.
Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
What You'll Bring
Previous line cook or kitchen experience preferred, ideally in a high-volume setting
Working knowledge of basic culinary techniques, knife skills, and kitchen equipment
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
Florida Food Handler Certification
Physical Requirements
Remain standing for extended periods throughout the shift
Bending, squatting, and lifting up to 15 lbs. for short distances
Ability to work comfortably in a fast-paced, high-energy environment with varying noise levels
