The CERTIFIED Medical Assistant performs patient care and administrative/clerical related tasks and procedures based on training, education, and competency evaluations, and as delegated by and under the direction/supervision of the Physician, Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant (NP/PA), Registered Nurse (RN), or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). The CERTIFIED Medical Assistant provides an environment for safety; Provides patient care tasks and procedures and administrative duties (as appropriate). Demonstrates the development of the specific skills and knowledge required of medical assistants, effective inter-departmental interactions, and ability to follow department and system policies, procedures, and practices. Productive and efficient in daily operations. High School Diploma OR equivalency Required
Certified Medical Assistant
Registered Medical Assistant
Certified Clinical Medical Assistant
Phlebotomy experience Highly Preferred
