Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist for a travel assignment in an inpatient rehab hospital in Asheville, NC. This role is ideal for a professional with expertise in hands-on occupational therapy within a supportive and specialized team environment.

Key Responsibilities of the Occupational Therapist
Provide hands-on occupational therapy to patients within the rehab setting
Utilize knowledge of relevant medical conditions in treatment plans
Conduct EMR documentation and maintain compliance standards
Engage in team conferences and interdisciplinary communication
Deliver family training and recommend durable medical equipment
Implement safe patient handling techniques and manage protocols to prevent complications
Train in the use of wheelchairs, prosthetics, orthotics, and adaptive equipment
Utilize critical thinking for interdisciplinary collaboration
Requirements of the Occupational Therapist
Current licensure to practice in NC
Experience in an inpatient rehab hospital preferred
Proficiency in safe patient handling techniques
Familiarity with protocols for preventing complications
Good time management and communication skills
