Required weekend shifts to equal 1 per week of contact, which may be every other weekend or spread across weekends.
Description:
The role requires a Registered Nurse with experience in Medical Surgical care.
The Nurse will provide care to patients with various diagnoses, including COPD, sepsis, pneumonia, and renal failure.
The position involves caring for patients who have undergone surgeries, including total joint, colorectal, bariatric, and trauma surgeries.
Key responsibilities include administering medications, managing IVs, and monitoring patient vitals.
The Nurse will float to different medical-surgical units as needed and provide 1:1 observation for patients in other clinical departments.
The position involves a daily patient census of 49 with a 50-bed capacity.
Support from interdisciplinary teams such as IV teams, respiratory services, and physical therapy is available.
Administration of care will occur in accordance with established protocols and procedures.
Candidates should have established skills in managing various medical equipment and techniques, including BiPAP/CPAP management and telemetry monitoring.
The position requires a commitment to providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Travel experience is required.
