Position Summary Guardian Angel Home Care is seeking compassionate and motivated Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) to join our growing Home Health team. The PTA works under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide medically prescribed therapy services to patients in their homes while helping improve mobility, strength, independence, and overall quality of life.
Conduct medically prescribed therapy programs involving exercise, massage, heat, water, light, and electrical modalities
Apply diagnostic and prognostic test results related to muscle, nerve, joint, and functional performance
Provide therapeutic treatments and recommend equipment needs as appropriate
Participate in staff meetings, case conferences, in-services, and training programs
Assist with discharge planning in coordination with the therapy case manager
Follow infection control standards, OSHA guidelines, and agency policies
Maintain compliance with Medicare Conditions of Participation and all regulatory requirements
Demonstrate professionalism, accountability, and excellent customer service
Graduate of a Physical Therapist Assistant program accredited by the APTA and/or AMA
Current PTA license in the state of employment
Home Health experience preferred but not required
Ability to work independently in the field
Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance required
