This patient-friendly facility offers a variety of primary care, emergency care and specialty services along with Lifestyles, a medically based fitness program and facility. The Bath Health and Wellness Center Emergency Department offers 24-hour emergency care with board-certified, emergency medicine physicians who are available around-the-clock to provide comprehensive care to adults and children. Backed by the full resources of Cleveland Clinic Akron General and Cleveland Clinic, the Emergency Department provides advanced care in the Bath community.
A caregiver in this position works varying shifts. Complete Emergency Department assessment data based upon patients' arrival, inclusive of psychosocial, educational and age specific needs.
Review and document care and discharge goals with physicians, patients, and families.
Administer and document IVs and medications.
Intervene when changes in a patient's condition occur and document nursing interventions and patient's responses.
Assign and delegate appropriate patient care activities to other nursing caregivers.
Provide appropriate care for alleged rape/sexual assault victims.
Provide community referrals to patients and families.
Complete mandatory education and training to maintain competencies, requirements, certification and/or licensure.
Graduate from an accredited school of Nursing
Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Ohio
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Two years of emergency room experience or relevant critical care experience
