Under the direction of an assigned supervisor, provide piano accompaniment for vocal and instrumental soloists and ensembles in rehearsals and performances; Accompany soloists and choral groups at day and evening performances away from the College.

• Accompany private lessons as needed.
• Reinforce music instruction during rehearsals as directed by the instructor.
• Assist with the supervision of students in small groups.
• Any combination equivalent to: graduation from high school and two years of experience accompanying choral groups, soloist/class performances and/or dance classes required. Formal study of the piano at the college level may be substituted for the required experience on a year-for-year basis.

Knowledge Of: Piano performance and accompanist techniques; a wide variety of music styles, including chamber music and lieder (art song); proper accompaniment for voice classes and instrumental music.
