Junior Sales Trader

As a Junior Trader you will perform detailed research in the financial markets with the use of cutting edge technology. Your research is directly applied to low latency, algorithmic trading strategies. At SG, merit quickly accumulates to hard working detail-oriented problem solvers with immediate exposure to profit-impacting trading strategies.
The ideal candidate enjoys reasoning from first principles, is interested in solving complex puzzles, and challenges themselves to get better every day.
What you'll do:
Work in an innovative environment
Research, design and optimize algorithmic trading strategies
Detailed strategic research and analysis
Continuously learn and improve yourself
No sales and no customers
What you'll bring:
New college graduates to 2 years of work experience in any field
The ability to think critically about problems and to understand the downstream effect of decisions
Experience leveraging AI tools to improve productivity, problem-solving and work quality
Python and/or C++ experience is a plus
