Physical Therapist Assistant
KidsCare Home Health is an ethical, therapist owned and operated home health company. We are seeking to immediately hire a Physical Therapist Assistant. KidsCare provides therapy services to children with special needs in the comfort of their own homes. The Physical Therapist Assistant will provide medically prescribed physical therapy under the supervision of a Physical Therapist (PT) for pediatric patients within the home health setting. They will direct the patient and the caregiver as outlined in the treatment plan in collaboration with a Physical Therapist to restore, reinforce and/or enhance performance.
Provide clinical treatment to patients as directed by PT supervisor.
Coordinate patient care with office staff and other disciplines.
Maintain appropriate communication with PT supervisor regarding progress, problems, home programs, and other issues related to the therapeutic process.
Responsible for the maintenance of supplies and equipment.
Serve as the backup service provider for other caseloads as needed.
Comply with all company policies, practices, and procedures.
Education and Work Experience Requirements
Associate's degree as a Certified Physical Therapy Assistant.
Home health experience preferred.
Ability to interpret instruction with the ability to solve practical problems with a variety of concrete variables.
Proficient computer skills to include Microsoft Office Suite, record keeping and routine database activity.
Moderate physical activity performing strenuous activities of a therapy
