Desired Skills & Experience

• Valid LPN or LVN license, in good standing
• Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
• Familiarity with common childhood illnesses, allergies, and injury care
• Ability to document care, maintain health records, and report incidents
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
• Flexibility to support students with diverse health needs
• Up-to-date CPR/BLS certification

Key Responsibilities

• Provide daily healthcare services to students and staff, including medication administration and first aid
• Respond to health emergencies and communicate with parents/guardians as needed
• Support students with chronic conditions, such as diabetes or asthma, per individualized health plans
• Monitor immunization compliance and maintain accurate medical records
• Educate students and staff on topics such as hygiene, wellness, and disease prevention
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and external healthcare professionals
• Promote a positive, inclusive, and supportive health office experience for all students
