Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN for a travel contract in Jacksonville, TX, with Epic experience preferred and on-call responsibilities included.
Details
Hospital Operating Room setting
Surgical specialties include General, Orthopedic, OB/GYN, GI, Colorectal, ENT, and Pain procedures
Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
On-call requirement of approximately 30%, with possible PACU recovery responsibilities when on call
Epic EMR used; experience preferred
Requirements

• Active TX RN license or Compact RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of OR nursing experience preferred
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Proficiency in general surgery, orthopedic, thoracic, urological, and laparoscopic procedures preferred
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Candidates residing in the following TX counties are not eligible: Henderson, Anderson, Cherokee, Rusk, Panola, Smith, Gregg, Van Zandt, Wood, Upshur, Camp, Hopkins, Franklin, Titus, and Morris
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration

First-time travelers are welcome to apply
Former permanent staff must have been separated for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
No more than 3 days of RTO will be approved, and no RTO is permitted during the first week of orientation
All RTO requests must be submitted at the time of application
Travel pairs or groups are not accepted for this position
