Paralegal (Temp, Remote)

The Paralegal 2 performs a variety of law-related tasks such as legal research, drafting legal documents and other related duties. The Paralegal 2 supports the Pharmacy and PBM Legal Sub-team in managing the team's growing volume of commercial contract work. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs (emphasis in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), Adobe Professional and Lexis/Nexis

Excellent research and writing skills

Experience in a corporate legal or compliance department, or law firm, with exposure to PBM, pharmacy, or healthcare-related commercial contracts

With supervision from assigned attorneys, has reviewed and analyzed a broad range of commercial agreements, amendments, non-disclosure agreements, and related documents

Familiarity with pharmacy laws, the pharmaceutical supply chain, or pharmacy benefit management operations

Work at Home Requirements: To ensure Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees' ability to work effectively, the self-provided internet service of Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees must meet the following criteria: wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested. Travel: While this is a remote position, occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required.

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
