As a Registered Nurse (RN) at SJHMC Westgate ED, you will be a pivotal healthcare professional, delivering compassionate, high-quality care that truly impacts our patients' well-being and recovery.

Every day, you will leverage your specialized expertise to provide rapid, individualized, comprehensive care, making swift and critical assessments, performing skilled procedures, and meticulously implementing urgent patient care plans for patients of all ages, from minor injuries to life-threatening emergencies. You'll collaborate seamlessly within an interdisciplinary team, including physicians, advanced practice providers, paramedics, and support staff, contributing to a high-pressure, yet highly rewarding, environment focused on immediate stabilization and optimal patient outcomes.

To be successful in this role, you will possess keen assessment skills, acute critical thinking, particularly in rapidly triaging, identifying, and addressing life-threatening conditions, and a patient-first mindset, driven by a profound enthusiasm to help others during their most vulnerable moments. Provides comprehensive, safe, and effective, evidence-based nursing care, performing rapid and accurate assessments to prioritize patient needs and facilitate timely intervention for various medical and traumatic emergencies.

Emergency Interventions: Organizes and prioritizes patient care activities, balanced with the urgent needs and comfort of critically ill or injured patients. Patient & Family Support: Serves as an advocate for patients' needs by demonstrating holistic care practices, offering support and clear communication to patients and their families during highly stressful times.

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing

AZ RN license or RN License from a Compact State.
