Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for emergency patients across a broad acuity range
Operate and adapt to a highly complex and technical clinical environment, including EPIC EMR
Float to other units as needed based on staffing requirements
Work weekend hours as needed in accordance with unit scheduling requirements
Required Qualifications
Graduation from an approved Registered Nursing program with current RN licensure (Missouri licensure or compact eligibility required)
Minimum 1 year of RN acute care experience; Emergency Room experience required
Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications (ACLS and PALS must be obtained within 6 months of start date if not currently held)
Flu vaccination required for assignment dates falling between November 1 and April 1 (exemptions must be client approved)
Proficiency with EPIC EMR
Preferred Experience / Skills
Critical care or Emergency Room experience beyond minimum requirement
Demonstrates excellent customer service skills and the ability to adapt to change within a highly complex and technical environment
Basic computer skills with comfort navigating electronic health record systems
