Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and compassionate PACU Registered Nurse to join our post-anesthesia care team. The PACU RN plays a key role in recovering patients safely following surgery and anesthesia. The ideal candidate thrives in a collaborative environment and is committed to delivering exceptional post-operative care.
Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive post-anesthesia nursing care to patients recovering from a variety of surgical procedures
Monitor and assess vital signs, level of consciousness, pain, nausea, and surgical sites
Administer medications and manage IV therapy, oxygen support, and pain control
Collaborate with anesthesia providers, surgeons, and fellow nurses to ensure safe recovery and transition to discharge or next level of care
Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to all safety, infection control, and quality standards

Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate’s or Bachelor’s in Nursing)
Current Registered Nurse license in the state of Texas
Strong post-anesthesia assessment and monitoring skills
Proficiency in managing airways, pain control, IVs, oxygen therapy, and monitoring systems
Minimum 1 year of PACU or critical care experience required
Orthopedics, ENT, GI, General Surgery, Ophthalmology)
Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate’s or Bachelor’s in Nursing)
Current Registered Nurse license in the state of Texas
Strong post-anesthesia assessment and monitoring skills
Proficiency in managing airways, pain control, IVs, oxygen therapy, and monitoring systems
