Welding Estimator

Radyne

We are looking for a technical estimator with experience developing commercial quotations for custom industrial manufacturing equipment and processes. Prepare cost estimates and draft proposals for review and approval.

Revise quotes, when needed, based on confirmed project details (e.g., Respond to sales inquiries (phone/email) and resolve quotation issues or propose viable alternatives.

Maintain strong customer relationships by providing responsive, accurate, and professional quotation support.

Maintain current product knowledge to recommend appropriate configurations and product mixes.

Help develop and maintain quoting standards (e.g., engineering support time, assembly operation times, electrical engineering/programming standards).

Coordinate with Engineering to create or validate Bills of Materials (BOMs) when required.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); ERP/CRM experience is a plus.

Working knowledge of SolidWorks (asset).

Prior experience with Heat treating, Brazing or Annealing processes a plus.

Exposure to industrial or mechanical engineering concepts (asset).
Knowledge and/or hands-on experience in heat treating, brazing, and welding (plus).
