Job Summary:

Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Registered Nurse (RN) position in Portland, Oregon. This role involves providing specialized nursing care within the Cardiac Cath Lab environment, including procedural support, patient monitoring, and post-procedure care. The position requires flexibility to float between units based on workflow needs and adherence to facility protocols.

Job Details:

Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week.

Required Qualifications: Certifications in ACLS and BLS; at least 1 year of experience in a cardiac catheterization lab setting; current state license or compact license in hand at submission.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience with End-Tidal CO2 monitoring, Cardiac Stent Placement, Cardiac Cath lab procedures, and use of Epic charting system is preferred.

Float: Float rotation may be required based on unit needs.

Additional Information: Must have a vehicle for this assignment. The role involves support for emergent and scheduled cardiac procedures, including angioplasty, stent placement, and diagnostic catheterizations. Candidates will need to be prepared to work in a fast-paced environment with interdisciplinary support such as interpretation services and rapid response teams. Shift details include working at least 3 of 5 holidays, with all scheduling and RTO requests to be included during submittal. Candidates should expect to float to various facilities within the Portland area, including but not limited to Portland, Milwaukie, and surrounding locations.
