About the Position
Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (Neuroscience/Stroke Unit) – Tennessee Start Date: August 17, 2026
Location: Nashville, Tennessee

Schedule: Weekend shifts required; experienced nurses may float after orientation
Highlights:

• 30-bed unit featuring 22 acute care beds and 8 neuro stepdown beds
• Patient ratios of 6:1 on acute care, 4:1 on neuro stepdown
• Exposure to diverse neuroscience equipment including Vapotherm, BiPAP, trachs, and titrating cardiac drips
• Documentation system: Meditech EMR
• Supportive staffing model with dedicated RN charge nurse, 1-2 techs, and unit secretary
• Multiple positions available (4 openings)

Requirements:
Active RN license in Tennessee (or eligible for licensure)
BLS certification required for all positions

ACLS

certification required for neuro stepdown positions
Strong nursing skills and time management abilities
Stepdown experience preferred for neuro stepdown roles
Advanced critical thinking skills
