Compensation & Benefits Pay: $20.00–$22.00 per hour

Qualifications

Must be 25 years of age or older

Friendly, positive, and service-minded

Available to work daytime, evening, and/or weekend shifts as scheduled

Flexible, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining high food-quality standards

Able to communicate clearly with team members

Dependable, punctual, disciplined, and proactive

Maintains a clean, neat, and professional appearance at all times

Previous experience working in a restaurant or hotel kitchen is preferred

Responsibilities Position Overview:

Prepare and cook food according to Saolea’s standards, ensuring consistency in flavor, quality, presentation, and attention to detail while strictly following food-safety and sanitation requirements.

Prepare and cook food according to restaurant recipes, specifications, and established standards

Ensure dishes are prepared and served within required service times

Manage ingredients and preparation according to the assigned prep sheet to maintain freshness and minimize food waste

Store ingredients and products in the correct locations, at appropriate temperatures, and according to established storage standards

Operate kitchen equipment and use cleaning chemicals safely, properly, and efficiently

Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of your assigned station, including kitchen floors, walls, drains, and trash areas

Immediately report problems, mistakes, or operational issues to a supervisor and assist in identifying appropriate solutions

Support fellow team members and contribute to a positive, collaborative, team-oriented working environment

Physical Requirements

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, noisy, and high-pressure kitchen environment, particularly during peak service hours

Ability to stand and remain physically active throughout 100% of the scheduled shift

Regularly required to reach, bend, lift, move items, and perform cleaning duties throughout the kitchen
