About Radiant Radiant is an El Segundo, CA-based startup building the world’s first mass-produced, portable nuclear microreactors. The company’s first reactor, Kaleidos, is a 1-megawatt, fail-safe microreactor that can be transported anywhere power is needed and run for up to 5 years without refueling. Portable nuclear power with rapid-deploy capability can replace similar-sized diesel generators and provide critical asset support for hospitals, data centers, remote sites, and military bases. Radiant’s unique, practical approach to nuclear development leverages modern software engineering to rapidly deliver safe, factory-built microreactors that use existing, well-qualified materials. Founded in 2020, Radiant is on track to test its first reactor at the Idaho National Laboratory this summer, with initial customer deliveries beginning in 2028.
Senior Technical Recruiter
Radiant is seeking a bold, driven, and hands-on Senior Technical Recruiter to build and scale a world-class team in a high-growth, startup environment. You will own the full-cycle recruitment process—from intake and sourcing strategy to closing top-tier candidates—while serving as a trusted partner to hiring managers and a champion of Radiant’s mission to deliver the world’s first portable zero-carbon nuclear microreactor.
You will recruit for a diverse range of technical and corporate roles, from entry-level to senior leadership. Own and manage the full-cycle recruiting process, delivering an exceptional candidate experience from first contact to signed offer.
Partner closely with hiring managers and senior leadership to define hiring strategies, establish best practices, and close high-caliber talent.
Develop and uphold consistent, structured hiring processes that assess and attract mission-aligned candidates.
Drive creative and proactive sourcing strategies, including targeted campaigns, industry networking, and non-traditional recruiting channels.
Represent Radiant at recruiting, networking, and industry events to build talent pipelines and strengthen employer brand.
Identify and implement process improvements in the recruitment function, leveraging data and metrics to inform decisions.
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or 5+ years of professional experience as a technical recruiter.

• 5+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience, preferably in-house.
• Strong communication skills and confidence engaging with senior leadership and hiring managers.
• Proven ability to recruit across a wide range of skill sets, from early-career to senior technical and corporate roles.

Background in hardware recruiting, specifically electrical, mechanical, technicians, etc.
Experience building diverse and inclusive teams.
Expertise in both traditional and non-traditional recruiting methods, including cold outreach, networking, and targeted sourcing campaigns.
Ability to work autonomously, adapt to shifting priorities, and develop deep role-specific expertise.
Must be willing to work extended hours and weekends as necessary to meet company goals.
Occasional travel for recruitment and networking events.
