Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit
Monitor and interpret telemetry readings and respond to changes in patient condition
Administer medications, treatments, and nursing interventions per physician orders
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement patient care plans
Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the medical record
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Iowa or compact license eligibility
Current BLS certification
Experience in a Medical Surgical or Telemetry nursing setting
Ability to work every third weekend as part of the scheduled rotation
Availability to work holiday shifts including Christmas
Preferred Experience / Skills
Prior telemetry monitoring experience
ACLS certification
Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems
