Senior Associate, Civil Engineering

Job TitleThe First Review Of Applications Will Be April 15, 2026Incumbents perform advanced civil and traffic engineering reviews that demand a higher level of technical expertise and independent judgment than the associate level. This role is responsible for overseeing and coordinating moderately complex engineering projects.Education and/or Experience: Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from an accredited college or university and two (2) years of civil and/or traffic engineering design and review experience in land development projects. Additional education cannot be substituted for experience.Certifications, Licenses, Registrations: Must have at time of hire a valid Arizona Engineer-In-Training (EIT) certificate. Must have at time of hire and be able to maintain a valid Arizona Driver License.Selection Process: Applicants whose education, training and experience most closely meet the needs of the position may be invited to participate in a selection process to include a panel interview.Successful candidates will receive a post-offer; pre-employment background screening may include:Criminal Background ScreeningDrug ScreenEducation & Experience VerificationE-VerifyFingerprinting39 Month Motor Vehicle Department Records CheckThe City Of Surprise Is An EEO/ADA Reasonable Accommodation Employer.
