Weekend Care Lead Caregiver

This role is ideal for individuals passionate about supporting seniors, individuals with disabilities, and those requiring specialized medical assistance. The position offers opportunities to work in diverse settings, including assisted living facilities, home care, and private residences. Candidates should possess a strong commitment to patient-centered care, confidentiality, and professionalism.Job Types: Full-time, 40 hours a week guaranteed Tuesday through Saturday, or Sunday through ThursdaySalary: $24.50- $26.00 per hourDrivers/willingness to drive clients, REQUIRELots of opportunity for overtime $$$$Responsibilities:Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility supportSupport patients with dementia, Alzheimer's, memory care, and other cognitive impairments through specialized care techniquesOperate medical equipment such as Hoyer lifts, catheter care devicesProvide companionship and emotional support to promote mental health and well-beingObserving and reporting on the patient's conditionAssist with meal preparation, feeding, and ensuring proper nutrition according to dietary needsPerform light housekeeping duties, including laundry and cleaning, to maintain a safe environmentSupport hospice patients with compassionate end-of-life care respecting their dignity and wishesCaregiver Requirements:CNA License or HHA Certified with at least 3 years of ExperienceDrivers/willingness to drive clients, REQUIREMust be at least 18 years old.Ability to work with limited supervision.Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.Able to do light housekeeping.Personal Care / Help with bathing and feedingExperiencePrior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments preferredFamiliarity with caring for individuals with developmental disabilities or dementia is a plusKnowledge of medical terminology, medication administration protocols, and safety procedures, such as CPR certification preferredExperience working with patients requiring hospice or long-term care services is advantageousPrevious caregiving experience involving Alzheimer’s or memory care enhances suitability for this roleAbility to assist with complex tasks, such as catheter care, hospice support, or using a Hoyer lift, is beneficialCandidates must demonstrate patience, excellent communication skills, attention to detail in documentation, and a genuine desire to improve the quality of life for their patients.Job Type: Full-timeBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingHealth insuranceMileage reimbursementPaid orientationPaid sick timePaid time offPaid trainingReferral programWork Location: In personWork Location: In person
