Independent Contractor Caregiver

Job Description Community Resource Network of Florida is looking for a caregiver who is fun, compassionate, dependable and is committed to helping individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) achieve their highest level of independence and live their best life.

We’re looking for a kind, dependable, and patient caregiver to provide support after bus drop-off. Someone who enjoys creating a calm, comfortable environment and building a trusting relationship. The individual enjoys reading books and watching TV and would appreciate a caregiver who is reliable, attentive, and compassionate.

Assisting with personal hygiene tasks
Facilitate community involvement by accompanying individual to social events, community outings, such as grocery shopping and appointments
Must be able to pass Local and Level 2 Background Screening
Provide proven 1 year of caregiving experience or technical training.
Provide a High School diploma or equivalent
Are 18 years of age or older
