Job Description:
Valley View is offering an exciting opportunity for a traveling Medical Lab Scientist (Technologist) or Technician to join our Laboratory team! In this role, you will collect and receive specimens for testing, carry out chemical, microscopic, bacteriologic, and other medical laboratory tests, and operate both manual and automated lab equipment to analyze specimens.
Responsibilities:

Carry out chemical, microscopic, bacteriologic, and other medical laboratory tests.
Operate both manual and automated lab equipment to analyze specimens.
Requirements:
Medical Technician (ASCP): Associate degree, Current Medical Technician Registration by ASCP or AMT.
Medical Lab Scientist (Technologist) (ASCP): Bachelor's Degree, Current Medical Technology Registration by ASCP or AMT.
Two (2) year experience as a Medical Lab Scientist (Technologist)/Technician required.
Five years microbiology plate reading experience and/or microbiology supervisory experience.
CANDIDATE MUST HAVE MICROBIOLOGY AND MEDITECH EXPERIENCE.
