As a Preschool Assistant Teacher at Acelero Learning, you will play a vital role in shaping the foundational experiences of children ages 3 to 5 within our Head Start program. As a Preschool Teacher, you will nurture responsive teacher-child relationships through the CLASS™ framework, cultivate a welcoming and inclusive classroom environment, and deliver age-appropriate, standards-aligned instruction. You will monitor developmental progress through ongoing assessments, tailor learning experiences to support the needs of all children, and actively engage families as collaborative partners in their child’s growth. Use the CLASS™ framework to promote high-quality teacher-child interactions that support emotional, social, and cognitive development.

Deliver developmentally appropriate instruction aligned with curriculum goals to support school readiness.

Conduct ongoing child assessments to individualize instruction and track developmental progress across all learning domains.

Adapt teaching strategies to ensure all children, including those with special needs, dual language learners, and varying developmental levels, are supported.

Build strong, respectful relationships with families to support their child’s learning and development both at school and at home.

Actively participate in ongoing training, coaching, and reflective practices, and contribute to a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

A deep commitment to working with young children and supporting their social, emotional, and academic growth in an inclusive, nurturing environment.

Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with children, families, and team members.

A High school diploma or equivalent

Hands-on experience teaching preschool-aged children, with the ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse developmental needs.
