Full Time LMFT - Remote position

Sunshine Counseling & Recovery Clinic is seeking a dedicated Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our telehealth team. In this full-time remote role, you will provide compassionate counseling services to individuals, couples, and families, addressing a multitude of emotional and psychological challenges.

This position is fully remote, offering you flexible scheduling while maintaining a connection with the clinical team and clients through advanced telehealth platforms. As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Sunshine Counseling & Recovery Clinic, your daily responsibilities will include:

Conducting thorough assessments to diagnose clients' mental health conditions.

Collaborating with other mental health professionals and specialists to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care.

Documenting progress notes and treatment updates in a timely and accurate manner while maintaining confidentiality.

Your role will involve working with a diverse population facing a variety of mental health challenges, including: alcohol and substance abuse, family conflicts, and the emotional effects of separation or divorce. You will be instrumental in guiding clients through their healing journeys, helping them build healthier relationships and coping mechanisms.

A valid and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.

Proven expertise in providing therapy to individuals and families across various demographics.

We are looking for candidates with prior experience in a community mental health setting, specifically those who have worked with diverse populations and complex familial issues. Familiarity with telehealth practices and electronic health record (EHR) systems is a plus.
