Cardiology, Echocardiography Cardiologist

Asheville, NC

Coverage: Scheduled Clinical Hours plus Call Weekday and weekend coverage is needed , but all shift availability will be considered. Schedule:
Flexible availability accepted.
Weekend Call:
Friday: 5:00 PM 7:00 AM Saturday (start may be delayed to 8:00 PM if commuting)
Saturday: 6:00 PM 7:00 AM Sunday
Sunday: 6:00 PM 7:00 AM Monday

Clinical Responsibilities:
Manage Cardiac ICU admissions .
Comfortable treating:

STEMI


Unstable Ventricular Tachycardia (VT)
Ventricular Fibrillation (VF)
Cardiogenic shock

~ Interventional Cardiology, Electrophysiology (EP), and Heart Failure teams provide on-call backup .

Support & EMR:
Advanced Practice Provider (APP) available during every shift.
EMR: Cerner
Required Credentials:
Active North Carolina (NC) Medical License Required
Active NC DEA Required
Board Certified (BC) - Required
Must be able to read ECGs and Echocardiograms (ECHO).
