Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our Intensive Care Unit. The ideal candidate will exhibit comprehensive critical care skills and be adaptable in a fast-paced environment. This position involves caring for a diverse patient population with varying acuity levels, requiring robust telemetry and critical care experience.
Responsibilities
Manage a patient load that may include ECMO, post open-heart surgery, and various critical devices.
Administer critical medications and monitor patients for any adverse reactions.
Utilize advanced medical equipment, including IV pumps and ventilators.
Perform essential procedures such as central line insertions, chest tube insertions, and intubation as necessary.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
Must hold a valid RN license in the state.
ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
Prior ICU experience is highly preferred.
Telemetry experience is essential; familiarity with critical drips and ventilators is a plus.
