We're conducting a confidential search for a senior purchasing leader who can strengthen an established procurement function while helping position the organization for its next phase of growth.

This role requires more than managing purchase orders, reviewing spend reports, or conducting annual supplier negotiations.

The individual selected will be expected to challenge existing assumptions, elevate supplier performance, improve sourcing strategies, strengthen team capabilities, and help create a more scalable supply chain operation.

The environment is manufacturing-based, fast-moving, and highly dependent on strong supplier partnerships.

Success will require someone who is equally comfortable discussing long-term sourcing strategy with executive leadership and working through supplier, inventory, or material challenges with operations teams.

What Needs To Be Accomplished
The next leader will be expected to:
Strengthen supplier partnerships across domestic and international markets
Improve sourcing strategies for critical raw material categories
Create leverage through stronger commercial negotiations
Reduce unnecessary cost without introducing operational risk
Develop greater discipline around supplier performance management
Build bench strength within the purchasing team
Improve visibility into market conditions and material trends
Support a manufacturing operation that relies on consistent execution and dependable supply

Raw material sourcing
Global supplier management

Experience sourcing internationally is important.

Experience working with suppliers throughout Asia is particularly valuable.

Backgrounds involving industrial materials, chemicals, polymers, metals, fasteners, engineered components, or other production-critical categories are highly relevant.
