Job Title: Phlebotomist II
Location: Troy, MO
Duration: 3-Month Contract
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM (40 hours/week)

Job Summary:
~ We are seeking an experienced Phlebotomist II to join a leading diagnostic healthcare organization in Troy, MO. The ideal candidate will have strong venipuncture skills and experience working with paediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections in a fast-paced patient service environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Perform venipuncture and specimen collection following established procedures.
Collect, process, and prepare specimens for laboratory testing.
Verify patient information and ensure accurate specimen labeling.
Maintain required documentation and records.
Provide excellent customer service while creating a professional and welcoming patient experience.
Follow all safety, quality, and confidentiality standards.
Support both clinical and forensic specimen collection as needed.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Minimum 3 years of phlebotomy experience.
Experience with pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
Strong specimen handling and processing skills.
Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Basic keyboard and data entry skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
Phlebotomy certification.
Medical Assistant or Paramedic training.
Minimum 2 years of Patient Service Center (PSC) experience.
Previous healthcare, retail, or service-oriented customer service experience.

Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a high-volume environment.
Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, or cover additional locations when needed.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality patient care.
