Job Description

TITLE

RN - OR (General Surgery)

SCHEDULE

Shifts would vary between 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM, and 1:00 PM - 9:30 PM. Call required: One weekday of call per week and parts of 1-2 weekends in a 6-week schedule.

ASSIGNMENT DETAILS

Contract Length: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 40

REQUIREMENTS

• Must hold a valid nursing license.
• Travel experience strongly preferred.
• Cerner experience required.
• Candidate must be able to do all specialties except for Cardiothoracic and Neurosurgery.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide direct patient care in the operating room setting.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain required documentation and ensure compliance with all facility policies.
• Participate in patients' pre-operative and post-operative care.
• Adhere to infection control protocols and ensure a sterile environment.
• Assist with patient positioning and preparation for surgical procedures.
