Position Profile The Phone RN triages phone calls from patients, families and caregivers applying medical and emotional interventions for symptom management; informs team members of changes and coordinates the work of visit nurses on assigned shift. Serves as member of an interdisciplinary care team. Scope of practice in this role is provided solely via telephone consultation. This position is based out of our Central Clinical office located in Phoenix.

Adheres to high standards of personal and professional conduct.

Minimum Qualifications Graduate of accredited school of nursing.

Minimum one year of recent experience in medical, surgical or critical care as a professional nurse.

Solution driven, creative and resourceful problem solving skills.

Minimum two years of recent experience in medical, surgical or critical care nursing.

Preferred Qualifications Previous hospice or oncology experience.
