Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Adult ICU position requiring ID or compact RN licensure, ACLS/BLS certification, and 2+ years of ICU experience.
Details

• Work in the CCU/ICU unit of a Level II Trauma hospital
• 9-bed ICU with a 2:1 patient ratio
• Adult and geriatric patient population
• Uses MEDITECH EHR system
• Night shift schedule (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
• 13-week assignment length
• Every other weekend required
• No standard on-call requirements, though per contract may take call up to 3 shifts per 13-week assignment
• May be required to float to PCU or Med/Surg units

Requirements

Active RN license (Idaho or Compact) currently in hand
Current certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), AHA certifications required
Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
Required education: RN
Experience required in neuro, surgical, medical, ventilator, sedation, cardiac, stroke, EKG/rhythm interpretation, and IV placement
Must provide Social Security number and date of birth for consideration
Additional Information

Provide critical care nursing to adult and geriatric ICU patients across a wide range of diagnoses and treatments
Scrub color is flexible, though hoodies, sweats, and hats are not permitted
Candidates must live 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for the travel rate
Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full-time while on assignment
