Full Time Distribution Center- Material Handler

Material Handler
Primary responsibility of the Material Handler is picking, packing, and shipping world-class guitars. We are seeking career-oriented individuals who desire to become a part of a world-class team. This is a full-time position in an aggressive, fast-paced distribution environment.
Essential Functions

Warehouse and shipping experience is desired.
Ideal candidates will transition between performing packing activities and assisting in the shipment of orders.
Housekeeping duties within the Distribution Center
Restock the area with the necessary supplies
Adherence to the Gibson Cardinal Safety Rules as per the Gibson Playbook for Cardinal Safety Rules and General Safety Rules.
Obligation to submit safety observations for identified hazards using the safety observation QR code.
Support the comprehensive Safety Management System (SMS) to ensure a safe work environment, maintain compliance with regulations, and improve our safety processes.
Other duties as assigned.
Other Duties

Employee can be asked to perform other duties that are reasonable within the area of expertise
Assist in the removal of Hazardous waste from the site

Attention to detail.
Must be able to climb a ladder.
Willingness to learn how to operate a forklift.
Computer proficiency.
Ability to work with a team in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
Outstanding time management skillset with the ability to prioritize.

Must be a self-starter.
Mandatory overtime on an as needed basis.
Education and Experience

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience should center on daily production requirements.
Physical Demands

Basic physical stances and actions (sitting, standing, walking)
Must be able to stand entire shift for 8-10 hours per day.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
