PART TIME DIRECT SUPPORT PROFESSIONAL / CAREGIVERS

Kindly Direct Care is hiring a part-time Direct Support Professional for a one-to-one opportunity in Hillsborough NJ 08844 (Somerset County)

This can be a great fit for a college student, educator, human-services professional, caregiver, or someone looking for meaningful part-time work. Consistency matters: although the hours may be limited, the individual and family rely on the DSP to keep the agreed schedule.

What You'll Do

• Support an adult with developmental disabilities at home and/or in the community.
• Provide support to a 24-year-old high-functioning individual with autism who enjoys shopping, going out to eat, visiting the library, and other community activities. The ideal DSP should be reliable, calm, and easygoing, providing companionship and engaging in activities together.
• Encourage independence, social connection, and progress toward personal goals.
• Assist with routines and activities based on the individual's needs.
• Maintain safety and follow individualized support instructions.
• Complete required documentation after services and communicate reliably with the Kindly team.

Qualifications

• Able to consistently commit to the exact posted schedule.
• Dependable, respectful, patient, and comfortable working one-to-one.
• Experience Preferred.
• Reliable Vehicle Required.
• Able to complete required onboarding, background checks, and training.

Schedule: Tuesdays & Thursdays 10:00:AM-2:00PM
Pay: 18-21/hr.
Location: Hillsborough NJ 08844 (Somerset County)
Driving on shift: [REQUIRED/PREFERRED/NOT REQUIRED]
