Nursing Home Housekeeper - Part Time

Valley Vista for Nursing & Rehab is seeking a Housekeeper to join our skilled nursing facility in Newton, IA.
Perform a variety of light cleaning and organizational tasks to maintain a safe and orderly environment.

Full Time
Part-Time | 3 days/week, morning shift
Responsibilities:
Follow established Floor Technician service procedures to maintain facility cleanliness and safety.
Perform a variety of floor care tasks, including stripping, waxing, buffing hard-surface floors, and maintaining carpeted areas.
Collect soiled linen from the facility and residents, and operate washing machines to launder items according to hygiene standards.
Fold, hang, and organize residents' personal linen and clothing; transport and distribute items to residents' rooms.
Ensure clothing is properly stored in closets and drawers, maintaining residents' personal spaces in an orderly manner.
Adhere to all infection control and safety protocols while handling linens and performing cleaning duties.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a floor technician, cleaning, light maintenance, or other related fields
Familiarity with cleaning materials and equipment
