(Direct Care) Direct Support Professional NEEDED for part time/full time positions

Description
The Direct Support Professional (DSP) is responsible for advocating and supporting adults 22 and over with intellectual and developmental disabilities. DSPs empower residents to live as independently as possible by assisting with household maintenance, meal preparation, shopping, grooming, toileting, dressing, tooth brushing, and many other daily activities. They also help with medical appointments, banking, community participation, outings, medication administration, and adherence to Behavior Support Plans and Individual Support Plans.
Schedule & Pay
Schedule: Sun‑Weds 11p-9a. Hours: 40 per week. Pay: $17.50–$19.00 per hour. Sign‑on bonus: $1,000 for full‑time and $500 for part‑time employees.
Training
DSP workers receive paid New Employee Orientation, CPR/First Aid, Safety Care, Defensive Driving, Medication Administration Program (MAP) training, and program‑specific training at the individuals’ homes. DSPs must maintain certifications, follow agency policies, comply with DDS regulations, and know how to evacuate residents safely in emergencies.

Must possess the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed above and be able to perform the essential functions of the job. Fluency in spoken, read, and written English is required.
