Registered Nurse - Per Diem

Maintains Competencies and is cross-trained staff assigned each shift for census fluctuations or periods of time for replacement.

Assumes the responsibility of the job description for the professional clinical registered nurse and the position-specific requirements of the clinical area assigned.

Willingness and ability to provide flexible staffing needs in order to meet the needs of the patient care areas (Refer to CRC Guidelines and Expectations).

Attend in house codes and rapid response calls as required

Initiating and maintain complex IV therapy, including thrombolytic administration, vasoactive medications, central IV catheters, dialysis catheters & arterial lines

1-2 years of critical care experience; Intensive Care Unit, Step Down, Stem Cell or Emergency Department

• Telemetry competency - Ability to read and operate cardiac monitor, recognize normal/abnormal rhythms, and institute appropriate interventions
• Graduate of NLNAC or CCNE School of Nursing, and licensed in the state of IL
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certified (As appropriate for population served)
