Head of Project Management

PROJECT MANAGER - DESIGN AND PROGRAM MANAGEMENT (DPM)
The Project Manager at WT Group AEC is an architecturally trained professional with eight or more years of professional experience, a professional degree in architecture from an accredited program, and licensure is preferred but not required. He/She manages multiple small/medium projects, coordinates architectural project production with the assigned project architect and estimates scope of work. Has full responsibility for managing the overall success of multiple small to midsize projects, including the preparation of strategic plans for project success. They are responsible for the coordination of administrative project efforts to ensure the most efficient and cost-effective execution of assigned projects. Serves as the primary client liaison to bring the schedule, budgets, and scope of work to completion and to the client’s satisfaction. Actively manages client budgets, schedules, and programs; project communications and documentation; office administrative tasks; and project team assignments. Provide project leadership by applying financial acumen to meet client goals

Perform routine and timely invoicing on all assigned projects.

Actively track each aspect of project performance against schedules and critical path; Demonstrate a proactive focus on meeting client and project requirements in a timely and cost-effective manner

Prepare/update project status reports, process invoices, update tracking reports, and maintain files for due diligence and financials

Proficient in the use and application of project technology as required for assigned projects and a willingness to learn new technology.

Understanding of typical project controls such as ERP and CRM systems.

Professional demeanor to thoroughly present projects to a range of professionals including clients, departmental leaders, and C-level management

Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, organizational management, business administration or related field required.

Experience with permitting and zoning requirements, including coordination with local municipalities, regulatory agencies, and project approvals.

Minimum (8) years of direct architectural experience with a minimum of (3) years of project management experience.
